Ingredients

•  6-8 oz lean ground beef
•  Salt & pepper to taste
•  1/2 teaspoon dried parsley        
•  1/2 teaspoon dried basil
•  Salt & pepper to taste
•  1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

For the Pasta:

•  2 oz pasta of your choice (e.g., spaghetti, penne)
•  Salt for boiling water

For the Marinara Sauce:

•  1 cup marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Optional Garnish:

•  Fresh parsley, chopped
•  Shredded cheese (e.g., Parmesan)

Instructions

Preparing the Meatballs:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper.

3. Roll the seasoned beef into even 1 oz meatballs, making about 6-8 pieces.

4. Lightly sprinkle the meatballs with dried parsley, basil, and oregano.

5. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until fully cooked through and slightly browned.


Cooking the Pasta:

1. Bring a pot of salted water to a rolling boil.

2. Add the pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes, depending on your texture preference (al dente or softer).

3. Drain the pasta and set it aside.


Simmering the Marinara Sauce:

1. In a saucepan, simmer 1 cup of marinara sauce over low heat.

3. Once the pasta is cooked and drained, toss it in the simmering marinara sauce until well-coated.


Serving:

1. Plate the pasta coated in marinara sauce.

2. Arrange the meatballs on top of the pasta.

3. Garnish with chopped parsley and optional shredded cheese if desired.

4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
